Position Overview
Reporting to: Director – Sustainability Wing
Qualification: Postgraduate, preferably in Business Management
Experience: Minimum 7 years in strategic partnerships, fundraising, or public relations, with a strong communications background and knowledge of NGO/CSR regulations in India
Employment: Full-time, with extensive outstation travel
Salary: Rs.9.00 lakhs PA to start with, it can be commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement annual resource mobilization and sustainability plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct market research to identify funding opportunities and recommend strategic partnerships.
- Support organizational growth and refine fundraising strategies.
- Fundraising & Resource Mobilization
- Secure funding (cash/in-kind) for Rainbow Homes and Sneh Ghars from corporate CSRs, retail, and international donors.
- Design and execute fundraising strategies, leveraging existing and new donor networks.
- Map local donor potential and engage alumni/volunteers for resource mobilization.
- Donor Management
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate, retail, and international donors.
- Co-manage corporate partnerships and acknowledge donor contributions through personalized communications.
- Proposal Writing & Reporting
- Write compelling proposals and reports for private, corporate, and philanthropic donors.
- Provide periodic impact reports highlighting fund utilization and program outcomes.
- Event Management
- Organize donor events and visits to showcase program impact and strengthen engagement.
- Lead the Resource Mobilization Unit (RMU) in planning donor-related events.
- Database Management
- Maintain an accurate donor database, tracking contributions and pipeline sources.
- Visibility & Communications
- Develop communication materials (newsletters, reports, brochures) and impact stories.
- Manage website and social media to enhance visibility and donor engagement.
- Lead internal/external communication projects, including social media campaigns.

Employment: Full-time, with travel (10-12 days/month across 8 cities in India)
Salary: Rs.50,000/month, negotiable based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Web & Digital Platforms
- Manage social media for Rainbow Homes and four collaborating organizations, ensuring consistent branding and engagement.
- Create platform-appropriate content (blogs, webpages, flyers, brochures) and maintain the website and social media.
- Conduct capacity building for Sustainability Wing Coordinators, partners, and city desks on social media and branding.
- Campaigns & Events
- Design issue-based campaigns for web and community resource mobilization, securing celebrity endorsements.
- Plan collaborations with NGOs, corporates, and media for a mega event.
- Support donor events and visits, ensuring impactful engagement with children and staff.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Coordinate production of Annual Reports (editing, design, layout) and their conversion into various formats.

About Position:
To Ensure Proper financial and accounting systems are maintained in accordance with organisational guidelines, protocols, ensure adherence to all legal and statutory compliances of the Organisation, and ensure accurate financial reporting to various stakeholders, Financial Analysis and supporting the Director- Finance, HR & Admin.
The Key responsibilities are:
Financial Management:
- Ensure proper accounting systems are followed at all levels and provide handholding support to the city teams and home teams in book keeping and records maintenance, adherence to legal and statutory compliances
- Facilitate and ensure proper budgeting processes followed for Annual budgets preparation at all levels and with partner organisations
- Facilitate and ensure that proper Annual contracting process for all the implementing partners.
- Provide handholding support and monitoring visits to cities and the partner homes to ensure adherence to systems and processes.
- Ensure the cash flows planning for availability of required funds for operations at units and for Homes and other programs and partners.
- Ensure periodic and timely grant reconciliations for various grants received
- Prepare and update the donation dashboard and funds flow overview on periodic basis.
- Analysis of expenditure of Units, Homes, other programs and partner organisations on periodic basis and ensure the variances are addressed timely.
- Provide required training basing on the requirement from time to time on book keeping, legal and statutory compliances to all the Units, home and Partner
Budgeting and Reporting:
- Ensure periodic Consolidation of financials of all the homes and cities, prepare relevant reports for period reviews and for submission to various stakeholders/donors.
- Develop budgets in coordination with cities and home teams and do the resource mapping based on the available sources from time to time.
- Prepare financial proposals and budgets in coordination with the respective units along with necessary documents for sharing with existing and potential
- Ensure all the relevant compliances for executions of MOUs with various
- Prepare donor-reporting calendar and ensure timely sharing of reports in coordination with homes and state units.
Statutory compliance and others:
- Ensure timely submission of IT returns, FCRA returns and Society returns are done for the organisation and also for partner organisations
- Ensure proper TDS deductions of employees, vendors etc., made, remitted and quarterly returns filed on time at all levels and also ensure compliance for partner organisations.
- Coordinate various audits and due diligences and ensure audit
- Ensure efficient system of filing, archiving and retrieval as per statutory
The Senior Manager – Finance will report to the Director – Finance, HR and Admin. S/he will work very closely with other Finance and other teams at various levels for required information and coordination.
Role Requirements
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills:
- A post graduate in commerce /MBA in Finance Management from a reputed institution and any other related professional qualifications will be added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in mid management level- finance function in a reputed Not for Profit Experience in partner management is must.
- Professional Knowledge and hands on experience in TALLY ERP 9 is must. Knowledge in other accounting softwares will be an added advantage.
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in MS office especially MS Word and MS Excel for financial analysis and consolidation of reports.

Job Description: City Coordinator – Residential Care
The City Coordinator (Residential Care) will be responsible for overseeing & ensuring the quality of the Rainbow Homes residential care program in Child Care Institutes (CCIs).
Key responsibilities:
- Support the process of Annual planning of the homes & hostel programs & finalisation in the city/cities.
- Ensure that the partners & the direct program reach out to the targeted numbers as per the agreed plans
- Make periodic visits to the homes and hostels to oversee & support the quality of the program and processes
- Organise periodic activity planning and review meetings with the home/hostel teams to discuss & support the quality of the program
- Support and establish systems to improve the quality of education in the homes/hostels
- Conduct special reviews and orientations on the nutrition aspects and ensure the quality of nutritious food served in the homes & hostels
- Assess the volunteering needs of the Residential care program in their respective city/cities and identify & establish linkages with the suitable volunteers/volunteering organisations to achieve the program activities and outcomes
- Ensuring that the Child Protection Policy of the Rainbow Homes program for the residential care is implemented in its true spirit in the residential program
- Report and inform the National Program team (RHPCC) immediately about any emergency situation in the home/child related or the violations of the Child Protection Policies
- Conduct capacity needs assessment of the home level functionaries and support in designing capacity building programs
- Take up & arrange the relevant capacity building programs with the home teams on the care aspects of the Rainbow Homes program
- Represent Rainbow Homes program in the city level networks & forums that work on the Residential care program
- Establish good linkages with the relevant government departments such Women & Child welfare, DCPU, CWC, Social Welfare, Education & SSA, etc.
- Guide, Support and ensure that the partner & direct homes have been registered under JJ Act wherever it is applicable
- Support to the homes in following the legal compliances of the JJ Act and other legal aspects such as POCSO, Child marriage Act, etc.
- Support and guidance to the residential teams on updating of the MIS and Rainbow Online Reporting (ROR) and also Ensure that the relevant physical registers as per the requirements of the statutory compliances and the Rainbow Homes program at the residential care program are done qualitatively & timely
- Support, generate and draft the reports such as Newsletter, case stories, grant reports, etc of the residential care program
- Identify best practices in the city with regard to the quality aspects of the residential care program such as Education, Health, Nutrition, Shelter, etc and organise exposure visits & sharing meetings with the teams
- Conduct the program monitoring process & prepare the reports as per the monitoring tools of the Rainbow Homes Program
- Plan for capacity development of partners/home teams in taking up Child Participatory monitoring and Track implementation of Child Participatory monitoring programs at the home level
- Participate in all the training, program planning & review & other meetings organised by the Rainbow Homes program
- Coordinate with the other Coordinators at City Desk for various interlinked programs such as city-level thematic meetings, stakeholder meetings, workshops with the children, etc.
- Coordinate with the other Units at the national level as and when required keeping the Sr. manager in the loop and in consultation.
- Support & attend the donors and other visitors to the program in coordination with the National program team
- Support in providing data and information for making proposals for the resource mobilisation for the planned programs
- Any other task and responsibility assigned by the Rainbow Homes Program – National secretariat/the reporting manager from time to time for the program purposes
- Be available at any time in the situations of any emergency calls/situation to support the home teams
Qualification and expected skills:
- Should be a Post Graduate in Social work
- Should at least 3-5 years of experience in social development preferable in direct experience in program planning, implementation, Monitoring & Evaluation of programs
- Thorough understanding on Child Rights & Child Protection Issues including the issues of residential care and children on the streets
- Familiarity of working with the Government systems & experiencing managing NGO partnerships/ programs
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently & managing emergency situations
- Language proficiency in English and Telugu for Hyderabad location is essential.
Salary: The Salary package would be Rs. 40,000/- per month commensurate with experience.
